Sports car manufacturer appoints Proactsis for engine management development

 

A US-based, world class, high performance sports car manufacturer has appointed Proactsis Controls Ltd to develop engine management control and diagnostic monitoring strategies to comply with full 2021 model year US-market legislation.

Proactsis will deliver engine management control strategy updates and embedded software development including the provision of support at the client’s premises.

Proactsis was chosen based on its experience of engine management system development, and emission control knowledge.

Proactsis Controls Director, Duncan Lister, said: “We look forward to sharing our experience with the client team and supporting their Calibration Engineers during the vehicle development. The appointment helps cement Proactsis’ global client base and reputation.”

Luxury vehicle manufacturer re-appoints Proactsis as Diagnostic Consultants

 

A luxury vehicle manufacturer has re-appointed Proactsis Controls Ltd as Lead Diagnostic Consultants for a major new vehicle development programme.

The work includes the creation of diagnostic monitoring and communication specifications for chassis, body and powertrain domain electronic control systems, in addition to verification testing of diagnostic monitoring and communication for these systems. Proactsis has also been selected to develop ECU programming and diagnostic tools for the low-volume vehicle manufacturing environment.

Proactsis Controls Director, Mike Davies, said: “To be re-appointed as Lead Diagnostic Consultants reinforces the quality of work that we have so far delivered, and the confidence that our clients are able to place in Proactsis.”

Proactsis implements high-voltage engine test cell control system

  

Proactsis Controls Ltd has successfully implemented a high-voltage engine test cell control system for a UK-based, internationally renowned Engineering Test Facility. The system integrates and controls multiple high-voltage systems, allowing use of the existing test cell control interface, as well as providing diagnostic monitoring and feedback.

Proactsis will continue to work closely with the Test Facility as the control system is implemented across multiple test cells, and will support change requests as the system under test evolves from prototype to production specification.

Proactsis integrates EV batteries into Energy Storage Device

 

A leading Energy Storage Device developer has contracted Proactsis Controls Ltd to support the integration of Electric Vehicle batteries into an Energy Storage Device.


Proactsis will use their knowledge and experience of automotive network communication and systems integration to ensure that the Energy Storage Device controls the EV batteries so that they perform correctly and safely in a new environment. Proactsis will initially create simulation environments for verification testing, before repeating the testing activities on high-voltage automotive batteries.
